The SIGNATURE vest is a great vest for those requiring a vest that can be worn covertly or overtly, such as crowd control, events or undercover related duties, and those working in mental health facilities.

Our certified stab-proof vest offers even more protection in addition to the proven comfort. Carbon fibre, glass fibre and aramid: the best materials on the market for flexibility and lightweight. Weighing from approximately 1.5 kg, (level 1) the vest offers a high level of comfort and is certified by VPAM according to guideline KDIW 2004, level K1. The technology used to manufacture our stab-proof vests and other stab-proof garments is innovative and unique in the world. After years of intensive research, we have succeeded in producing a textile composite that is at the same time safe, light and flexible.

This ultra-light, flexible and adjustable stab protection vests is best suitable as an undercover vest. A protection area of 0.25 m² at a weight of only approximately 1.5 kg (level 1) can be achieved by a patent applied technology for the protection material. The material is exceptionally flexible thanks to their scaly structure, breathable and comfortable due to the special mesh structure of the outer fabric. With the adjustable shoulder straps and the flexible waist belts the vests can be adjusted in a wide range. The sides are open for even higher flexibility and lowest weight. On demand an additional side protection can be applied one sided or on both sides. This guarantees the highest level of protection.

Options: White or black outer covers are available separately to enable you to swap over the stab panels, based on your attire: Eg: White for under light coloured clothing, black for under dark coloured clothing. Take measurements preferably with the clothes you expect to be wearing the majority of the time with the vest. Vest do have a +- allowance of a few cm in the waist & shoulder height adjustments.

You can sit down wearing our vest, but try sitting down with the non flexible options offered by other manufacturers! Some of our competitors vest are made for U.K. conditions where our Australian climate has not been taken into consideration. Our material is lightweight, flexible and has a patented design that allows air to enter and heat to escape from the material easier. This is a patented design not offered by any other stab protection company in the world!

The outer fabric of the vest is very durable. This makes it particularly suited for law enforcement and also ideal for outdoor use.

The technology used to make our stab protection vests and other stab-proof garments is innovative and unique throughout the world. After many years of intensive research, we have succeeded in manufacturing a textile composite that is safe, light and flexible at the same time. Our tactical stab-proof vest weigh only approx. 1.6 kg, (level 1) for example. The protective layer is made of a high-strength aramid fabric to which a special plastic is inseparably applied. The combination of high strength fibres and the energy absorbing plastic create a material of which its specific properties even exceed those of stainless steel plates.

The weight is approx. 4.5 times lower than that of a comparably thick stainless steel plate. We have taken the armadillo as a model to ensure flexibility and breath-ability. Just like this armoured mammal, we make use of an overlapping scaly structure. However, our scaly structure differs from that of other suppliers in that it is not possible to push it apart. This allows us to achieve a high degree of safety in combination with maximum flexibility.
As with our other vests, the vest is characterised by a very high wearing comfort. We achieve this by the low weight of approx. 2.1 kg and this with a protected area of over 0.25to 0.45 m². In comparison, other vests only offer a covered area of 0.1 – 0.2 m². Furthermore, the wearing comfort is significantly increased by the high flexibility of the stab-proof material. This means that the vest can be worn permanently without any restrictions – regardless of whether you are seated or highly active.

The optional waterproof stab panel coverings are available and specifically designed for the healthcare sector, where there exist a risk of blood or bodily fluids contaminating the outer vest and permeating the panel covers. The removable stab panels with the covers are easily removed and able to be cleaned or sanitised.
